In Gem Drop you arrange identical gems in groups of 3 or more to keep them from overflowing the screen. Drop the gems one at a time. Once a group of three or more gems is formed, it evaporates. Any gems above the group move down into the vacated spaces. To drop the gems click on the column where you want to place it. Be quick, or the gems get impatient and drop by themselves. The playing field is filled with colored blocks. The object of the game is to remove all the blocks from the playing field with the fewest swaps. Do this by swapping blocks so that three blocks of the same color form a vertical or horizontal line. When three blocks form a line, they are removed from the playing field and any blocks above them drop down. To swap two blocks just position the mouse over them and click the left mouse button.
