WorkKeeper is used to prepare quotes by selecting material and labour items from lists and then adding any other text. The material and labour items in the lists are entered into the software along with their cost and retail prices. You can change the charge-out rate on individual quotes without affecting the standard pricing if you want to give a sharper price for a certain job. Once the quote has been accepted a Job Sheet can be generated directly from the quote information so you don't need to enter the information twice. The Job Sheet shows client details, a description of the job and the items that were included in the quote for the job. At the same time purchase orders for sub-supplier materials can be generated automatically. After job completion invoices can be printed and if necessary they can include costs for additional items that were not originally quoted. A Reminders feature allows you to enter To-Do Notes that you want to be reminded to complete at a later date, e.g. phone a prospective client about a quotation. You can print a summary of all the invoices or a selection of invoices. Thankyou Notes can be printed and sent to clients who pay promptly.
