TellTail ActiveX Control 1.0 Description
TellTail ActiveX Control may be used in any programmer's IDE with ActiveX toolbox support such as Visual Studio 2008 and earlier,VB, VC++,C#,Delphi. Never recode "one instance" support for Windows again. Just add the control to your project. The Faves Free program uses this control and acts as installer for TellTail. A design-time license is required for developer use. For an example of using this control to prevent multiple program instances while also providing filename transfer via command line to support file type double-click, see the Full Featured Edition of Faves.

Create single instance applications linked to associated file types. When the associated file is double clicked it will be handled by a single instance of your application. This lets your application act like Media Player rather than Notepad. Each time you double click a media file Media Player does not open a new window but re-uses the existing one. This is normally difficult to achieve in Visual Basic but the OneOnly control makes it simple.
