BayMaestro is a spreadsheet that calculates how much profit you make on each item you sell on eBay. Data is entered as follows: Item Description (just a brief note so you know what it is), Sale price/auction final value, Quoted P&P cost, (the price quoted in the auction for the relevant postage service the buyer chose- i.e. the price the buyer paid for P&P), actual postage and packing cost (may be slightly different from the estimated cost), and the price you paid to list the item. Some eBay Calculators add up your listing fee for you, which means you have to tell it all the options you chose when listing the item, if it was a special listing day, and the starting price. With this program you just enter the listing price. eBay tells you this just before you click 'submit' when listing an item. The program then calculates the relevant final value and Paypal fees (can be overwritten if seller uses another payment method), and calculates the total profit on that item. If that item makes a loss, it goes red so you instantly know what isn't making you a profit. The total profit for all your items is displayed in the top corner of the page. Overheads can also be added, these are automatically subtracted from the total profit. If you are a normal eBay seller, you can buy the profit calculator on a floppy disk, or compressed in ZIP format by email. The eBay shop version is available compressed by email, or compressed on floppy disk (by special order only- please contact us). The eBay shop version features provision for store inventory items or normal auction or fixed price formats.
