Itel Office is an Integrated Contact Management Package. It is designed for use within small to medium sized organisations wherever contact with people and/or organisations is important. Because of its integration with telephony, organisations that have a modern digital telephone switch will appreciate Itel Office benefits to the full. With the telephony integration, an incoming call causes the Itel Office database to be searched and the details of the matching contact to be displayed. In other words, when someone calls Itel Office "pops" up with their name and address together with any notes associated with that contact, and a history of the most recent activities such as calls received or made and letters sent. Armed with this level of information you can deal with an incoming call much more efficiently and provide a much higher level of service. For example, you can see who last spoke to the contact, or the contents of the last letter sent. As well as being integrated with your telephony, Itel Office integrates with your word processing, fax and e-mail, so actions resulting from a telephone conversation become much easier you handle and as a result are usually done quicker and better. Even if a conversation does not require a letter, fax or e-mail to be sent, adding a few simple notes about the conversation will enable others within your organisation to see what has been said.
