Don’t spend time on writing network socket logic yourself, but use this powerful socket tool. It has support for connection oriented communications, connection-less oriented communications, TCP/IP, IPX/SPX and has support for some nifty application layer protocols, like Telnet. Support RSH, allowing you to run UNIX and LINUX application from a Windows platform. Use it to enahance your login script, to automate configuration of your Cisco or 3COM switches and routers, to implement wake on lan on your network, to make your own pop3 mail client, to enhance your application with connection oriented client/server communications, and so on. Implemented as an ActiveX control, it enables to use it on web servers, web browsers, windows applications and visual basic scripts. Easy to distribute and install. Samples are provided in VBScript, ASP, Visual Studio and Visual Studio .NET.
