It uses a proprietary dual-keys multi-stage file encryption algorithm that securely encodes data in files to avoid being read by unauthorized users. Moreover, CoverUp allows a file to be secretly hidden behind another normal looking file called the carrier file. The carrier can be JPEG, MPEG, HTML, .xls or other file types.
